The Sixth Day

If you're wondering, it has nothing to do with Arnie's movie of the same title. Today's the sixth day of CNY and we decided to take 175 from the new bus interchange in Clementi Mall to West Coast Plaza to do a little shopping. As the bus stopped at the traffic junction outside NTUC, we spotted a little caucasian boy perched on top the shoulders of his dad.

There's quite a few things to buy at WCP's Cold Storage in anticipation of Bernice's mum's visit this weekend. For this afternoon, however, we're expecting our neighbours to come over so Bernice had beforehand prepared fruit punch and poured the mixture into this elegant acrylic serving bowl with cups hanging on both sides.

Of course, CNY can't do without some snacks, but this year we tried to focus on the quality and reduce the quantity.

All's set and ready to go! We hope to build a closer rapport with our neighbours of about three years so that in time to come, we'll be able to extend God's blessings to them as well...
